Tonight, June 27th, the amazing Tyron Benoit Band is back at Snowpack Underground from 7-10pm! We love having them here every summer, and tonight's show is going to be fantastic. Limited tickets are still available – snag yours before they're gone!
Rise and shine on Saturday for our weekly free Saturday Morning Yoga in the Taproom, 10-11am. It's open to all ages and experience levels – bring your mat and get ready to stretch!
Then, unwind with us on Sunday afternoon as Porch Moment brings their tunes to The Beach from 2-5pm. It's a free, all-ages show perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
BIG NEWS: Our Roots Are Getting Deeper! We're bursting with excitement to share that Snowpack has purchased a new building and will soon have a permanent home in Conifer! Our new location will be in the Safeway shopping center at 27175 Main Street. This is a huge step for us, allowing us to serve you even better for years to come.
No need to rush, though – we'll continue to operate from our current Green Valley location until March 2026. This gives us plenty of time for a smooth transition. Born and raised in Houma, Louisiana, Tyron's musical journey began steeped in classic country, Cajun, and folk, with rock influences from Led Zeppelin and Steely Dan. A pivotal moment came at age 10 with his first record, a treasured Ray Charles album that shaped his future sound.
After a combat tour as a US Marine in Operation Desert Storm, Tyron pursued acting in New York City, where the seeds of music were planted. He formed "Too Fish" with his brother Tate, playing blues and rock across the Midwest and Rockies.
Returning to New Orleans in 2003, Tyron helped rebuild the city after Hurricane Katrina, sparking impromptu jam sessions with other contractors that evolved into the Bywater Rock Group. This period ignited a thirst for musical exploration, leading him to collaborate with various bands across genres and even lead a band for the legendary Big Chief Monk Boudreaux.
Tyron released "Waiting on Friday" in May 2022 and has since played major festivals including the French Quarter Fest, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Telluride Blues and Brews, and the Lucerne Blues Festival in Switzerland. Porch Moment is a folk/singer-songwriter group, similar to the styles of Watchouse, Gillian Welch, and David Rawlings. While the band is rooted in its duo, Mark Swaim and Danielle Faller, they sometimes perform as a trio or quartet. Their individual songwriting and musical styles blend together to create beautiful harmonies, sure to take you on a journey to a place and time where you feel warm and peaceful, much like a moment on your own porch. Mark and Danielle reside in Evergreen, Colorado and you can find them playing music all along the foothills and beyond! | | | | | | | | | | | Hey, Conifer! We did a thing.
It's been an amazing 8+ years of Snowpack filled with amazing people, unforgettable memories, trials, tribulations, and quite honestly, some of the best years of my life. We've gone from a wild idea that sprung up on a trip to the Pacific Northwest to a neighborhood craft beer taproom with a staff that you could count with one hand, to an artisan pizza place and hub of a community that brings all of us together to share our love for all things Conifer and the absolute best of what this community has to offer.
Central to this entire journey has been our incredible team. A business is nothing more than the people within it, and we have been blessed with the best. To every single person who has ever poured a beer, served a pizza, or washed a dish here over the past eight years – thank you. You each laid a brick in the foundation of what we've become.
And to our current staff: you are the heart and soul of Snowpack. Your dedication, your passion, and the energy you bring every single day are the reason we have a community, not just a customer base. You have championed our vision and are the driving force behind this success. This monumental step forward is a direct reflection of your hard work and commitment.
This incredible journey and the community that has grown around Snowpack have brought us to a new and exciting threshold. We've reached a point where our dreams have become bigger than our current walls. The love you've shown us has been overwhelming. You have filled our space with so much life and energy that, in order to continue growing with you, we knew we needed to take the next step. As we've looked to the future and thought about what's next for our Snowpack family, one thing became clear: we needed to plant permanent roots in the community that has given us so much.
And so, it is with immense pride, excitement, and heartfelt gratitude that we announce we have purchased our own building, securing a permanent home for Snowpack in Conifer.
This isn't just a new building for us; it's a foundation. It's our commitment to this community for years to come. It means creating an even better space for you to gather, celebrate, and make memories. It means deepening our roots and continuing to be a place you can call your own. We could not have taken this monumental step without each and every one of you. Thank you for building this with us. We can't wait to share more about the next chapter and welcome you into our new home soon.

Now, for the exciting details! We know you probably have a lot of questions, and while we're still finalizing the master plan, here is what we can share today: Our new location will be in the Safeway shopping center at 27175 Main Street in Conifer. This purchase secures our future in the town we love, and we are thrilled to begin dreaming up what this new space will become.
We want to be clear: we aren't going anywhere overnight! We will continue to operate out of our current Green Valley location through March of 2026. This gives us time for a slow, thoughtful transition, ensuring a smooth and supportive process for our incredible staff above all else.
Over the coming months, we will be hard at work designing and building out the new space to perfectly match our vision. We'll be announcing dates for a staged opening soon, so please continue following us on social media for the latest updates.
This is the next chapter of the Snowpack story, and we truly cannot wait to share it—and celebrate it—with all of you.
