As we welcome some cooler weather to Conifer, we also get to celebrate the return of football on the weekends. We've upgraded our projector to make watching the game at Snowpack even better. We'll have the Broncos game on with sound this Sunday so come watch the big game with us!

Pretend Friend returns to Snowpack tonight for a show upstairs in the taproom from 6-9 pm. We love it when these guys come play for us so we hope you can all make it out for the show.

On Saturday, we've got our friend Kim, AKA Dj Cave Baby, throwing down some beats on the beach. With a gorgeous weekend in store, we hope you'll come to enjoy the tunes with us. Tyler Phillips kicks things off right after Kim upstairs in the taproom with a couple of sets of his always enjoyable Americana.

On Sunday, the Broncos kick off at 2:05 pm. We'll have the game going in the taproom. Go Broncos! 🏈

Pretend Friend is an Americana band born on the endless horizon of the plains. With roots in Wichita, Kansas, Pretend Friend's high-energy performances meld elements of folk, bluegrass, classic rock, traditional, and jam band music. Tradition is honored; convention is cast aside. PF has been inspired by consistent musical evolution since 2015.

With compelling songwriting at its core, Pretend Friend weaves together rich melodies with evocative lyrics of love, passion, nostalgia, controversy, and spirituality. Pretend Friend pursues a poetic, unbridled approach to musical expression.

Tyler Phillips is a Colorado-based multi-instrumentalist, high-country poet, songwriter, and producer. Tyler has performed as a solo artist, band leader, and session musician at notable venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Morrison, CO), Mercury Lounge (NYC), Rockwood Music Hall (NYC), Lucille Lortel Theatre (NYC), Arkansas Repertory Theatre (Little Rock, AR), Arlene's Grocery (NYC), Magik Theatre (San Antonio, TX), Grass on the Gulch (Conifer, CO), and The Zachary Scott Theatre (Austin, TX). His award-winning film scores have accompanied films screened at WestFest, on HBO Family, and at Sundance Film Festival. With 20 years of experience touring, recording, and composing, Tyler has landed in the Rocky Mountain Foothills where he plays and records locally with a bevy of talented musicians. His live show currently draws inspiration from The Band, Neil Young, Justin Townes Earle, and John Prine to engage audiences with high-energy, poetic performances that often explode into a fusion of high country folk, Americana, and jam-band-inspired extensions of original music and covers. Tyler performs regularly as a solo artist and lead guitarist for the Phillips Hall Band and Jax Jordening.

Prepare to laugh until your sides hurt! On Friday, October 4th, starting at 7pm, Snowpack Underground in Conifer is transforming into a comedy haven. We're bringing you a hilarious lineup of top-notch comics straight from Comedy Works Denver.
